Spiritual Warfare - 2/18/2026 - Watch on You Tube

Jesus intercedes for the saints. If we have invited Jesus into our hearts then that same right and responsibility to intercede for others abides in us. |
| Isa. 53:12 |
Jesus intercedes for sinners. Likewise we do
not only intercede for saints but sinners also. Did Jesus
save you because you were good? |
| Matt. 17 14-21 |
There is nothing wrong with praying "God
bless (insert your list here)", But sometimes intercession
takes more than a simple prayer. We need to engage the enemy
of our souls directly to see the enslaved set free. |
| Rom. 8:26-28 |
We may not know how to specifically intercede
in prayer, but the Holy Ghost does. Remember, without Him we
can do nothing, Seek to be filled with the Holy Ghost and
depend on His leading in prayer. |
| Eph. 6:10-20 |
Our prayer battle is not in the natural but
against powerful spiritual forces. As with any warrior, you
need to be (and stay) equipped both offensively and
defensively. Rely on the Holy Ghost as He leads you into
battle. |
| 2 Kings 13:14-19 |
You must 'pray through' and not stop short of
total victory. Some battles for souls are relatively quick,
while others may take extended times of prayer. Pray until
the battle is won. |
| Matt. 25:14-30 |
You must exercise your intercession gift and
not bury it in the ground. As a servant of the Lord, do not
neglect what the Lord directs you to pray for. There is a
blessing of seeing saved souls and God's joy in you. |
| Acts 16:25-34 |
Your reward is salvation for you and your
house. Do not stop praying and believing regardless of what
you see in the natural. For, the battle is the Lord's. |
Obviously, there are many other scriptures that come to mind on
the subject of intercession and spiritual warfare. Take time with
the Lord to be filled with Him, equipped for the battle, and our
eyes opened to see the fields white for harvest. The Book of Acts
is there is show the move of the Holy Ghost through the the lives
of God's servants and how we are to operate in the present age.
